Voter Protection Opportunities
With the election around the corner, efforts are beginning to ensure our elections are free and fair.

• Train to be a poll observer (monitor how polling places are functioning on election day). To sign up for training please contact us here

• Make calls to recruit voter and election protection volunteers with All in PA. To learn more please contact us here

• Learn how the PA Dems Voter Assistance Hotline to answer questions about voting and address issues or problems reported by voters, in real time. To be trained on how to participate please contact us here

• Train to be an early Vote Monitor (engages voters outside of Boards of Election offices to ensure that they are able to properly vote in person with a mail-in ballot and reports any issues to the Voter Protection Team). Unlike election day poll watchers, Early Vote Monitors don’t have to be from PA to help. To sign up for training please contact us here

Election Staffers Needed in Bucks

With the election around the corner, efforts are beginning to ensure our elections are free and fair. The Bucks County Board of Elections are searching for staff for a variety of positions. Questions? Contact Zach at zach@bucksdemocrats.org

• Judge of Elections - (We need these the most. Polling places cannot run without them) - These are the overseers of the polling place. They are responsible for getting the polls up and running, calling us if there are any issues, having the voters sign forms if necessary, facilitating the close of polls and the tally from the machine tapes, and dropping the supplies off to the Levittown Government Service Center or the Old Courthouse, depending on your location, at the end of the night. • Majority/Minority Inspectors and Clerks – These positions are at the table. They help to check the voters in by having them sign the poll book and recording their name (and party for the primary elections) on a tablet. They will also hand out the ballots to the voters. $195 Full Day Contact Zach at zach@bucksdemocrats.org if interested

• Machine Inspectors – These positions will help with any questions about the machines and clear any paper jams. They can also assist with handing out ballots or covering breaks. $195 Full day Contact Zach at zach@bucksdemocrats.org if interested
