Meet Dave DeMaria
Dave is a 40 year resident of Bucks County where he and his wife Patty raised their two children who are both products of Central Bucks Schools. Dave attended Lafayette College in Easton, PA where he earned his BS in Chemical Engineering and then went on to work in the fields of Process Controls and Process Systems Engineering for two local Fortune 200 companies. While not an accountant, as part of his professional work Dave set and managed budgets for large scale projects and as an engineering manager was responsible for personnel budgeting. Dave is mostly retired these days but still works part time for his former employer on special technical assignments.
Always an active volunteer, David has used much of his retirement free time to increase his level of volunteerism. Currently he is President of the Legacy Oaks community association here in Warrington and at the township level he worked with the EAC on the development of the Warrington climate action plan and helped out at Warrington community service days. He is also active working with Meals on Wheels, the Central Bucks code blue homeless shelter and the Dementia Society of America, as well as volunteering time at the Michener Art Museum. Dave has previously served as chair of the Dublin borough planning commission and chair of his church’s board of trustees, on which he served for a decade. His past auditing experience includes heading up the church’s annual financial audits for many years and more recently reviewing the financial audits done at Legacy Oaks
