Warrington Democrats
Not Left. Not Right.
All politics is local. Your township, your county and your state depend on citizen participation. The greater that participation, the better the government reflects the will of the people.
Forward
“Democracy is not a spectator sport. It is a participatory event. If we don’t participate in it, it ceases to be a democracy.”
Michael Moore
Woohoo! Warrington Democrats Win Big On November 4!
Congratulations to Supervisor Ruth Schemm, reelected to a 6-year term, and to Millie Seliga, who will once again serve as Tax Collector, and to Seth Gansman, elected to the three-person Auditor Committee.
Warrington voters also chose three three Democrats to represent us on the Central Bucks School Board: Katrina Filiatrault,David Comalli, and Daniel Kimicata.
Our new school board members have deep experience and commitment to education. They are also parents in the district. We are so fortunate to have them represent us in Central Bucks.
Democrats also won all of the county Row Offices. Joe Kahn is Bucks County’s first Democratic District Attorney since the Civil War. Thanks to the voters, we’ve got a new Sheriff in Bucks County and Danny Ceisler will not work with ICE!
All four Democratic candidates for Common Pleas Court won and voters retained our three Democratic Supreme Court Justices.
For actual vote counts of these and all other races in the county, visit the Board of Elections website.
Food assistance is needed more than ever thanks to the Republican’s government shutdown. Warrington Democrats can’t help open the federal government, but we’re trying to lessen the pain for many of our residents who are affected by the loss of SNAP. We collected bins of foods and other grocery items to donate to area food banks. Thank you to all who contributed!

Pennsylvania Transit is at Risk! Call Senator Frank Farry Today & Every Day Until the Budget Passes 215-638-1784
Gov. Shapiro averted severe service cuts for now. He did it by using money set aside for SEPTA’s repairs and maintenance. To keep SEPTA operations rolling, the PA Senate Republicans must pass the state budget.
Pennsylvania’s public transit systems, including SEPTA, are facing a funding crisis. Without a full-year budget, routes could be cut, fares raised, and essential services reduced—impacting seniors, workers, students, and people with disabilities.
Governor Shapiro proposed a budget that fully funds transit (along with schools, hospitals, and parks) for a year. The state House has passed it multiple times, but Senate Republicans are blocking a vote, offering only short-term fixes that advocates say will worsen the problem.
Join a protest, make calls, and join the bigger movement with Transit for All PA, and sign up for their newsletter to learn more ways to have your voice heard.
